My Greek SEAL by Sabrina Devonshire #Military #romance

Sabrina Devonshire will be awarding a $20 Amazon/BN GC to a randomly drawn winner via rafflecopter during the tour.

BLURB:
After a sudden job lay off, Maya holes up in her apartment, drinking wine and eating ice cream until the day she’s slated to leave for Greece. Even though she’s lost enthusiasm for this Greek island swimming vacation, she’s paid for the trip so she boards the plane.

She figures her life can’t possibly get any worse. She’s unemployed and spent most of her savings hiring a lawyer to collect commissions her corrupt boss refused to pay. She stumbles down to the Lefkada Island dock the first morning jetlagged and grumpy. When she spots a Greek man with a drool-worthy body, her plan is to look casual. Instead, she trips and plunges straight into the water. It wouldn’t be so bad if she never had to see him again. But Eros, a former Hellenic Navy SEAL, is one of her swimming tour companions. He boards the boat, pokes fun at her American mannerisms and asks way too many irritating questions. And he’s so damn hot, he makes her feel confused and distracted all the time. To make matters worse, he’s assigned to be one of her swimming partners.

Maybe Maya could have ignored the simmering attraction between them if it weren’t for the earthquake, the tidal wave and being stranded alone with him on Kalamos Island.

Excerpt
I snatch my backpack and glance in the bathroom mirror. Frowning, I tug down my floral print wrap to cover more of my thighs and twist my lips into a frown. My long strawberry-blonde hair is a tangled mess and dark circles rim my eyes. What was I thinking? After a ten-hour flight from the States and a five-hour bus ride across Greece, the few hours of toss and turn sleep on a rock hard mattress haven’t done a damn thing to improve my exhausted state. Or my appearance.

My weary muscles rebel against every step and even keeping my eyelids open is a struggle. What am I doing here? I’m a high maintenance woman. I don’t do sleep deprivation and Third World countries. I usually head to a beach resort in southern California, sprawl out on a lounge chair and drink Mai Tais until it’s time for my late afternoon massage.

I exit the bathroom and glance at the wrinkled sheets and the stiff pillows on the bed where I just spent a mostly sleepless night. Dropping back down into that bed of discomfort doesn’t tempt me in the least. What do they make mattresses out of in this country? I reach over to peel off the mattress cover and then decide against it. I really don’t want to see what’s hiding under that sheet. It’s probably a block of cement. I let out a long sigh.

What I really need is a spa day and twelve hours of sleep in a five star hotel. I imagine drifting off into a blissful sleep, my back pleasantly cushioned by a pillow top mattress and my body cocooned with a cushy comforter. I could be awakening refreshed now, about to sip espresso delivered to my room instead of feeling like absolute hell and about to embark on a long day of bouncing over waves on a boat. But this is Greece. The water and the islands will be beautiful.

“Shit.” I forgot the motion sickness pill. I drop my backpack, rush into the bathroom and rummage through my toiletry kit. My hand finally closes around the cylindrical container of pills. I pour two of them into my hand and down them with water before snatching up my backpack and heading toward the door.

Elite Ghosts by Jennifer Kacey

Jennifer will be awarding an autographed copy of Elite Metal - Book One in the Elite Warriors Series to a randomly drawn winner (US ONLY) via rafflecopter during the tour.

Seven things Jennifer has learned from being a kid:

1.  How to love everyone and everything in the naive way only a child can do.
2.  How to play in a ball pit and not gag from the grossness of it.
3.  How to smile and laugh for no reason just because I'm happy.
4.  How to work hard and get paid for it.
5.  How to be a girl and everything that means to ME.
6.  How to sleep on the entire mattress no matter how big it is.
7.  And how to wear pigtails no matter how old I am.

GENRE: Military and MC Romance

BLURB:
For more than two years they’ve been ghosts. Nothing but names on empty tombstones. Men and women forced to fade into the background after being pulled from the rubble. Dead Marines saved from a fate worse than death, but ordered to stand down while their lives disappeared all around them.

Some knew it could happen if a mission exploded. Double crossed by more than just Red Wolf. But now is their time to be reborn from the flames of a Phoenix. No longer imprisoned in the shadows. A half-life between them and their future. To make things right coming back to life is their only option.

Excerpt:
Target: Tungsten Excerpt By Heather Long

The black-garbed, anonymous soldiers who picked them up and dragged them back to the team moved forward. Three stood next to Poppy, the other four were beside Titanium.

How the fuck is he even alive?

“It’s time,” Titanium announced.

One by one, the ghosts removed their hoods—revealing face after familiar face.

Silence.

As if a nuke obliterated all thought in the room, everyone stood frozen. Waiting to wake up. Maybe waiting for the shock to sink in.

Zinc, Tungsten, Tin, Nickel, Thallium, Lithium and Uranium were alive. Everyone who had “died” in Russia stood side-by-side. Everyone but Gold.

Tungsten stared at Copper. Their eyes locked before he slid his gray-green gaze to Gabriel then back to her.

Gabriel palmed Copper’s shoulder, the weight of his fingers grounding her as the world seemed to slip sideways. Merc moved in front of her a half step. Brad? Her mind couldn’t process the data she’d received. Brad. Alive.

Alive.

Brad isn’t dead.

No. He died. When she’d stood inside the casino and an explosion tore it apart, silence accompanied the roar. A silence so profound, it threatened to swallow her. She remembered the first time the world swallowed her. When it spit her back out, Brad and so many others were dead. The second time, she’d woken beneath rubble and debris atop Cobalt—alone in the dark with a dead man.

No fire accompanied the second detonation, but the silence exploded all around her. Merc shifted more, breaking her line of sight, then the sound rushed in, flooding her. She couldn’t breathe.

She couldn’t be there.

I can’t do this.

Chrome’s voice pulled the pin on the grenade. “What. The. Fuck…”
