It’s no secret – I have a favourite silver polish called One, which also happens to be from Tatty Mule Nail Paints. And truthfully? I wasn’t holding out much hope of another silver polish standing up against my one true love. WRONG.

This Is the Mirror Ball Suit is like One but on steroids! I love it. Unfortunately the photos do not do it any justice. I took a close up of it (insert) to try to illustrate how sparkly, bright, rainbowy, this polish is under natural light.

Applying it is easy. You just apply using the brush – there is no need to use the sponge method as the glitters are not chunky and you get a great even colour. It goes on smoothly and dries pretty quickly too. Two coats are all you’ll need for an opaque coverage. When the polish dries, while it doesn’t dry matt, it does lose its sparkle. Apply a quick dry top coat and watch it come to life!

Would I recommend this product? Yes. Even if you already have a favourite silver polish try this one. It’s great to use as part of a nail art design or show case it all on its own. Either way, your nails will sparkle.

All Tatty Mule Nail Paints are hand mixed and 5 free - they do not contain Toluene, Formaldehyde, DBP, Camphor or TSF resin. Bottles are 12ml in size and contain 2 steel balls.

I've been hearing loads of good things about IG: @emilydemolly #polishes so I decided I wanted to get in on the action! I visited her online store and grabbed myself 3 polishes. The one I'm going to talk about today is #ModernLuster

Full disclosure here. I #love pink nail polish. And if I can dare admit this in writing, I probably have too many pink polishes in my collection. I'm making a conscious effort to broaden my horizons. That being said, “Modern Luster” is on the top of my fav list. It's so easy to apply and it dries very fast. I love the shimmer and sparks.

I finished the #mani using a #MoYou #stamp and #opi polish as the stamping polish. The #gold and #silver dots are moyo stamping polish. I applied #sechevite

Would I recommend Emily de Molly? Yes. No question about it.

OMG - why have I only just discovered this?

Don't get me wrong. I love Love LOVE the big brand nail polishes. There is nothing wrong with them. However, I'm on a quest to find indie polishes. In particular, Australian indie polishes. And I'm excited to say I've not had to look long or hard to find a brilliant indie polish - Bella Belle (who, I believe, are located in the same are as me!). They also do a lot of local markets - so you can either order online and pick up in person, or check them out at the next market.

I picked up the two colours (as featured in the photo) - Grey Is The New Black (from their thermal collection) and Raspberry Beret (from their A|W16 collection).  

I've done a few swatches and nail art designs with the colours (images to come - I'm just waiting for a sunny day to take photos!) - and they are amazing to use. You get an opaque coverage in two coats. The polish itself is smooth and creamy and has a good consistency.
