Texas Heat by Gerry Bartlett #Contemporary &Romance & Four Nights at Sea by Demi Alex #Erotic #Romance

The authors will be awarding digital copies of both books on tour to a randomly drawn winner via rafflecopter during the tour.

BLURB - TEXAS HEAT
Cassidy Calhoun can't believe she's the secret daughter of an oil billionaire. This small-town Texas girl with student loans by the barrel has never gotten a thing she didn't earn for herself.

The terms of her late father's will say Cassidy—and her newfound spoiled half-siblings—must work a year at the family's floundering business before they inherit a dime. Too bad the only thing Cass knows about oil is that it makes the junker she drives go.

Mason MacKenzie, the evaluator for their test, will help her get up to speed. Or will he? Mason is a boot-wearing, truck-driving Houston hottie who runs Calhoun Petroleum's biggest rival. The sparks between him and Cassidy could combust any minute. But the closer they get, the more strange near-accidents Cassidy seems to be having. And Mason has plenty of reasons to play up their attraction for his own benefit.

If she can trust him, the two of them working together might save a crumbling dynasty. But if she can't, Cass might just lose both her fortune and her heart . . .

BLURB - FOUR NIGHTS AT SEA
Charlene “Charlie” Stanton doubts her maiden voyage on a lusty singles cruise will direct her sails toward love. But an unexpected lothario just might change the tide in her favor . . .

Charlie boarded the Cozumel-bound Lovers Sail cruise hoping for nothing more than writing an article that would make it into the pages of City Wings, a trendy travel magazine. Still recovering from a highly publicized divorce, love is the last thing on her mind—especially when she realizes she’s mistakenly booked herself a spot on a kink cruise. That is until she meets Ford, an outsider just like her, and he whips her attitude into submission. Despite rules limiting their interaction, he shows her a world where pleasure is encouraged, and nothing is forbidden. And with Ford as her anchor, she begins to wonder if she can turn four nights of fantasy into more nights of reality when the trip is over . . .

Excerpt - Texas Heat
Cass found him studying the book collection on the shelves in the living room. He looked good, like a normal guy, in cargo shorts, a T-shirt, and leather flip-flops. Great muscled legs. No surprise there. His shirt hugged that amazing chest, which surely came from regular workouts. Was there any part of him that wasn’t perfect?

Of course there was. He was arrogant and thought he could make a play for her and she’d fall at his feet. Then there was the way he steered her around like she couldn’t make a move without his guidance. Hah! She was Cassidy Calhoun, the woman who’d worked her way through school without anyone’s help. Certainly without a boatload of money. She was tough. More her father’s daughter than anyone knew. And she’d prove it to all of them.

She stiffened her spine. She could resist Mason’s charm and male beauty. If he thought he could steer her right into an affair and to be his inside woman at Calhoun Petroleum, he could think again.

“You want some water or a beer?” She might be tough, but she did have manners.

“No, I’m fine.” He pulled a book from the shelf.

“Those books aren’t mine. I haven’t had much time for reading anything but business texts since high school.” Which was sad but true.

He held up a self-help book on finding love. “You’re not looking for love?”

“Nope.” Cass grabbed her purse. Did he really think she was going to fall for that stale routine? “Let’s go.”

“Wait a minute. I don’t believe you. I know women. They’re always looking.” He picked up his bag. “Seriously? Not interested?”

Cass gave him a scan. Yes, she just bet he knew women. They probably threw themselves at him on a regular basis. “Not looking because I’ve already found it, Mason.” Cass opened the door and stepped outside. “You met me and came after me hard without a thought about what I wanted. Maybe when you’re after another notch on your bedpost it doesn’t matter if the woman is in a relationship.” She turned to face him. “Listen up. You’re wasting your time hitting on me. I have a boyfriend who I love very much.”

“No shit. That is a news flash.”

Dangerous in a Kilt by Anna Durand #erotic #romance

Anna Durand will be awarding a $20 Amazon or Barnes and Noble GC to a randomly drawn winner via rafflecopter during the tour.

If your book were made into a movie, who would you want to play your main characters?
For an authentic Scotsman, Gerard Butler would be fantastic—but Chris Hemsworth would also make an awesome Lachlan! For Erica, I'd love to see Natalie Portman or Rachel McAdams in the role. They both have the quirkiness that is quintessentially Erica.

How do you come up with the titles of your books?
Sometimes, the titles just pop into my mind; other times, I have to brainstorm ideas until I find the right one. I try to give each book a name that speaks to something in the story or an overriding theme of the book. With Dangerous in a Kilt, the title came to me while I was a writing a scene in which Erica tells Lachlan hot guys are dangerous. Add in the kilt, for the Scottish element, and voila! A book is named.

What does your writing space look like?
Messy! Unfortunately, this is usually the case. I try to tame the mess, but it always returns. I have a dictionary and multiple thesauruses on hand, within easy reach, for those times when I need a little help getting the creative juices flowing.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not writing?
Reading, of course, but also playing with my new puppies, making jewelry, hanging out with friends, and listening to music. Much of what I do for fun finds its way into my books, though, since writers don't really have "off time." My brain is always hunting for new ideas!

What is your favourite color?
Red—and its child color, pink. I love the bright, vibrant red of cherries. It's a very passionate color!

What is your favourite pleasure food?
Popcorn, preferably with chocolate. There's just something about the sweet and the salty I can't resist.

What is your favourite season?
I love springtime, when the snow has melted, the grass turns green, and the wildflowers pop up in droves. Daisies are my favorite. After a long winter, I look forward to the return of the foliage.

What is your favourite television show?
My favorite show is also my guilty pleasure—Lucifer. It's paranormal, which I love, but it also has plenty of humor and a touch of romance. I love the fish-out-of-water aspect of the story, as well as how the devil plays the piano and sings.

What is your favourite movie?
Knight and Day with Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz. Anytime I've had a bad day and need cheering up, I pop this into the DVD player. I love the rip-roaring action and the romance, but I also enjoy knowing the lead actors did many of their own stunts. That makes it all the more fun to watch.

Who is your favourite actor?
Oooh, that's a hard one! Having recently watched both Jurassic World (again!) and Guardians of the Galaxy (again!), I'd have to say Chris Pratt. He can do the humor, but he's also a great action hero.

What is your favourite song?
Wow, that's even harder to choose! I love music and listen it to whenever I'm writing, but my favorite tends to change from day to day. Right now, I'm loving "I Believe in You" by Michael Bublé, from his newest album. The first time I heard the song, it made me think of my work-in-progress, Wicked in a Kilt, the second book in the Hot Scots series. The song epitomizes the relationship between the hero, Aidan, and the woman he longs to win.

What is your favourite comfort clothing attire?
You'll find me lounging in sweats, T-shirt, and slippers—pink plaid slippers, of course!

What books might we find on your bedside table?
Since I read mainly on my Kindle, I tend to have a lot of books on the table! Right now, I'm perusing The Naughty Little Book of Gaelic, a kind of glossary of dirty phrases and curse words. The book is published by a university press, so it's high-brow naughtiness.

Describe yourself in three words.
Quirky, determined, cheerful.

Blurb
Good-girl Erica Teague is out on bail, charged with a crime her ex-lover committed. She can't resist his offer to enjoy one month of sex and companionship with no strings. But when their hot fling gets personal, can their passion free their imprisoned hearts?

Excerpt
I swigged my brandy. A flash of fruity sweetness raced over my tongue, chased by a tangy burn. Why was I waiting for a man who didn't have the courtesy to call and cancel? Enough of this. I leaped off the stool onto my five-inch heels and tottered, mirroring my stool's motion. What the hell had I been thinking, wearing stilettos for the first time in my life?

Strong hands grasped my upper arms. "Easy there."

I craned my neck to behold my would-be savior. My heart thudded.

A giant of a man peered down into my eyes, his body towering several inches above me. Whoa, mama. The heels elevated my five-four to five-ten, which must've made him well over six feet tall. Thick muscles in his impossibly broad shoulders flexed as he maintained his hold on me. The lights glistened on his short, dark hair, casting it in unearthly hues. The sensation of his fingers on my skin and the proximity of his body flooded me with heat and my mouth watered at the sight of acres of hard, defined muscles straining his skintight black T-shirt. His powerful thighs vanished under a kilt, its plaid woven in pastel shades of green and blue with orange lines threaded through them. The blue in the fabric echoed his pale eyes, which studied me with electrifying interest. Black combat boots covered his feet but somehow, combined with his angular features, they lent him a rugged appeal.

I raked my gaze over his body, drinking in every inch of him, until our gazes intersected.

BLURB:
Ronan MacAlister’s return to Glencoe, Maine reignites every one of Aileen MacDougall’s adolescent fantasies.

Ronan is drawn to the beautiful Aileen, who now serves as the manager for his late uncle’s business ventures. However, it’s not her business acumen he’s after.

Will being trapped in a remote cabin lead to a happily-ever-after? Or, will they discover they have differences even kilty pleasures can’t overcome?

Excerpt
Angus gave another nod toward the table laden with food. “Why don’t I have her make you a plate? You can grab a spot close to the door and still greet your guests.”

“Thank you. I’d appreciate it.”

While he waited for his food, Ronan studied the townsfolk milling around the brightly lit, albeit stuffy, hall. They came from all walks of life. Farmers, store owners, and bankers. The one and only barber...who happened to be the town’s mayor as well. A cross section of exactly what made this place click and the main reason he could never coax his uncle into leaving.

Time and again his gaze returned to the beautiful woman near the far window. She fanned herself with a slim, delicate hand and he wondered how it would feel to have those same fingers caressing his skin. She was a goddess among a room full of middle-aged farm wives and gray-haired spinsters.

When she opened the shutters to let in some air the evening breeze blew her long, reddish blonde hair from behind her ear. The disheveled strands brushed her creamy cheeks and fell like a curtain over her slim shoulders. She tossed her head from side to side, jostling the silken threads until they came to rest across a pair of voluptuous breasts.

He gave his perusal free rein. Her trim waist flared into nicely curved hips. Perfect to hold onto during a long night of hot, satisfying sex. The thought made his palms itch.

Published in multiple genres, Nancy currently writes for four publishers. She has published twenty-two books in both full-length and novella format. In November 2016 Nancy will be celebrating twenty years as a published author and will release her 25th book in mid-2017.

Nicolas by Dianne Hartsock #Erotic #Romance (M/M)

Dianne will be awarding a $25 Amazon or B/N GC to a randomly drawn winner via rafflecopter during the tour.

Betrayed by a lover, Jamie rents an isolated cabin on Lake Huron, wanting only to be left alone. Instead, he is pulled from his solitary existence as an artist and tumbles headlong into the legend of Saint Nicolas.

As a young man, Nicolas accidentally killed a man intent on murdering three children, only to have the man’s malicious spirit rise up against him. Fleeing through the centuries from the Krampus, the evil troll-like creature that dogs his steps, Nico finds refuge with the young artist who takes him into his home and bed. But Jamie has questions. Who is Nicolas, and why does the Krampus want to destroy him?

When the Krampus begins to torment and torture anyone Nico comes in contact with to punish him, Jamie’s life is put in danger. And Jamie isn’t sure whether he can help Nico defeat his nemesis or if he’s merely a pawn in the Krampus’s game.

EXCERPT
Nico looked at the deserted bungalow as snow swirled violently around him. “I’m coming,” he warned. Not waiting for the others, he strode to the front of the house. Mounting the porch steps, he wondered in a small recess of his mind what horrors Piter would have waiting for him. The rest of his thoughts he sealed off. He couldn’t allow Krampus inside his head if he hoped to save the boy.

He turned the handle and the door opened into a shadowy living room, lit only by the dim sunlight creeping through the snow-caked windows. A small gasp escaped him when the Christmas tree in the corner suddenly flashed on, colored lights reflecting on the tinsel and bright ornaments. An ache touched his heart before he could control it, his shyness and insecurity after his parents’ death flooding through him. His uncle had been kind, but distant, and his childhood had been lonely.

He had found comfort in the rigors and rituals of his faith, and even now attained solace in prayer. But his strong devotion had kept him isolated, and it wasn’t until adulthood that he would go out into the village. He quickly became aware of the poverty of his people and did what he could to help: food and care, a coin now and then where needed.

His village had taken him as their spiritual leader and he’d been happy in that simple life. Before the wondrous, terrible day when he had saved those young boys from a butcher. The day his long torment had begun.

Nico rolled his shoulders, the burden he carried heavy today. He hadn’t meant to kill the butcher. He would never willingly have taken another’s life. But he had killed and deserved his fate. But the children the Krampus terrorized didn’t. Tears burned his eyes for those young souls. He had to end this.

“Piter, I’m here, where you wanted me.” Nico cleared the hesitation from his voice. He had to hurry before the others came inside, saying more firmly, “Let the boy free and I’ll do anything you ask of me.”

“Seems I’ve heard that before, Nico.”

Nico’s sharp gaze searched the room. Andy wasn’t present, but his eyes landed on Piter where he leaned against the doorframe leading to another part of the house. Piter watched him, his wide lips lifting into a leer. “Come here, baby. Stand next to the tree.”

Nico curled his hand into a fist but complied, wondering how far Piter would take this. The creature could be exquisitely cruel, burrowing until he found Nico’s deepest insecurities and brought them to daylight. He tried to keep his mind blank, but a noise at the door sent his pulse leaping and Jamie’s precious image sprang to the forefront of his thoughts. Piter’s amused laughter turned to a growl.

He approached Nico, touched his face, his green eyes gleaming with hate and lust. “I see young Jamie has taken my place in your dreams,” he purred, lowering the zipper on Nico’s coat. “No matter. I know what you need.”

Dianne grew up in one of the older homes in the middle of Los Angeles, a place of hardwood floors and secret closets and back staircases. A house where ghosts lurk in the basement and the faces in the paintings watch you walk up the front stairs. Rooms where you keep the closet doors closed tight at night. It’s where her love of the mysterious and wonderful came from. Dianne is the author of paranormal/suspense, fantasy adventure, m/m romance, and anything else that comes to mind.

She now lives in the beautiful Willamette Valley of Oregon with her incredibly patient husband, who puts up with the endless hours she spends hunched over the keyboard letting her characters play. Dianne says Oregon’s raindrops are the perfect setting in which to write. There’s something about being cooped up in the house with a fire crackling on the hearth and a cup of hot coffee in her hands, which kindles her imagination.

Currently, Dianne works as a floral designer in a locally-owned gift shop. Which is the perfect job for her. When not writing, she can express herself through the rich colors and textures of flowers and foliage.

Excerpt
We headed for the bar in the informal restaurant and took a seat. Another bartender was on duty. He’d been watching a soccer game as he wiped down the top of the bar with a rag. Turning to us, he asked, “What can I get you folks?”

“Two pints of draft,” Ray said.

The hotel served great beer and you know the saying, ‘when in Rome…’

While we sipped our beers, Ray whispered into my ear, “Are you seeing what I’m seeing?”

“Are you referring to that couple sitting on the couch, namely the woman who’s been devouring you with her eyes?” I replied.

“I thought she was nearly salivating over you, too. But, the guy seems to be into you, as well.”

I laughed. “You think we should go over and talk to them?”

Ray grinned. “Sure. Why not?”

We slid off our bar stools and walked over to the thirty-something couple, who were most attractive in their own right.

Ray started the conversation. “We couldn’t help but notice that you both were staring at us. Is there something wrong?”

“No, mate, not at all,” the blond, blue-eyed hunk replied in a thick Aussie accent. “We just couldn’t help noticing how perfect you two complemented each other.”

“You’re quite an attractive couple yourselves,” I said.

The woman, a lithe, blonde beauty with long hair and legs to match, her eyes still running up and down the length of Ray’s body before finally settling below his belt, said in a similar accent, “Well, now, here we are, two attractive couples. Perhaps we should do something about that.”
